The Most Tragic Deaths in Red Dead Redemption Series
Red Dead Redemption is not a cheerful franchise, and there are far more tragic deaths in it than in all parts of GTA. The series about hardened criminals trying to atone for their sins abounds with dramatic moments that have touched many players. In this regard, Game Rant has compiled a list of the most emotional deaths.
The list includes 13 names from Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption 2. The first two places were predictably taken by the main characters – John Marston and Arthur Morgan. Most of the rating is occupied by the Van der Linde gang, although there is also a place for Pinkerton agency employees.

2. Arthur Morgan:
Arthur Morgan is the central character in the second part. At the beginning of the game, Arthur begins to doubt Dutch's actions and decides to embark on a path of redemption. Later, he is diagnosed with tuberculosis, which slowly kills the main character.
1. John Marston:
The character with the most tragic fate. Although John said goodbye to his life of crime, the past still catches up with him in the form of Edgar Ross. Many players did not expect such an outcome – hence the well-deserved first place.
