Please read this before downloading and installing the game:

The archive size is 328 megabytes.
To run you may need a recent version of DirectX.
After downloading Grand Theft Auto, unzip the archive and double click on the GTAInstaller.exe file
The installation will begin. Follow the on-screen instructions to select the directory where the game will be installed.
Grand Theft Auto will be installed on your computer, and a shortcut will be added to the start menu at Start > Programs > Rockstar Games > GTA.
You must launch "GTA Settings" before launching the game for the first time.
In GTA Settings you can customize controls and select the interface language (the default is English).
Once you have configured the game for yourself, save the settings by clicking on the "Save" button.
You can now run Grand Theft Auto! Simply select Start > Programs > Rockstar Games > GTA > Grand Theft Auto.
You can change the screen resolution directly in the game by pressing the F11 key and selecting one of the available options.
If the game is slow, try turning off the frames per second limiter by pressing F8.
