An Appointed Time — Red Dead Redemption Mission Walkthrough
In this guide, we will tell you how to win a duel against the captor of the main character's friend and how to catch Bill Williamson and overthrow Allende's power in Red Dead Redemption.
Reach Abraham Reyes, who is marked on the map with an R marker, to talk to him.
Seeing the local settlers in distress and Reyes held hostage by Raul Zubeta, politely ask to release him. Obviously, the captor will refuse but will challenge you to a duel. Defeat the man using the unique Dead Eye skill and free Reyes.
Head to the prison, which is marked on the mini-map with a yellow marker, to free the prisoners, killing the guards along the way. Enter inside and shoot the locks on the cells to open the bars, then head to Reyes. Climb up to the barricades to clear the location of Allende's soldiers. Be careful, there is a machine gunner sitting in the right corner of the map, kill him first to make the further path easier.
After clearing the barricades, get behind the machine gun to blow up the powder kegs placed at the gates. Do not shoot the keg while Reyes' men are nearby, or you will fail the mission.
After the explosion, kill the soldiers coming out from inside. Not all of them will come out, so go inside and deal with the remaining ones. Wait for your allies to break open the door to the palace interior. You will be shown that Williamson was with the head of Allende all the time, but at the last moment, they decide to escape.
Chase the fugitives on your horses along with Reyes. After killing the guards on the wagon, watch the cutscene, then kill Williamson and Allende. As a reward for completing this mission, you will receive +150 points to the Fame parameter and +267 points to the Honor parameter.
