Lucky in Love — Red Dead Redemption Mission Walkthrough
This guide will show you how to win at poker against a smug German and how to defeat him in a duel in Red Dead Redemption.
Head to Mr. Ricketts, who is marked on the map with the LR icon, enter the building and watch the cutscene.
Ricketts managed to persuade you to play poker for a hundred dollars. In the first game, you need to call for 10 dollars to win.
In the second game, keep calling every time someone raises to win, then watch the cutscene.
One of the players at the table can't believe you can win, so he accuses you of cheating. After finishing talking, the man will challenge you to a duel, which you cannot refuse. Here are some tips from Ricketts:
- If you draw your weapon too quickly, you can lose accuracy;
- Use the Dead Eye ability to hit your opponents.
Head to the dueling location. Starting the fight, with the help of your unique ability, it won't be hard to defeat the man, then watch the cutscene. A stranger will come to you with a hostage, whom you need to neutralize.
Be careful, as soon as the fight starts, the stranger will not hesitate. Shoot faster than him without hitting the hostage, otherwise the mission will be considered failed. After killing the scoundrel, a large group of bandits will attack you. Fight back, hiding behind the stone wall near the bar.
After defeating them, watch the cutscene, after which the mission will be considered completed. As a reward, you will receive 50 dollars, +50 points to the Fame parameter, and also +62 points to the Honor parameter.
