How to Find All Job Locations in Red Dead Redemption
Red Dead Redemption is an action game set in America in 1911. Of course, one of the most important resources in the game is money, which can be earned by completing certain tasks, including paid work. In this guide, we will tell you where to find all the job locations to not only earn some money but also complete the game 100%.
The game features two main types of work: Night Watch and Horse Breaking. We will consider these options in turn, which can be performed strictly at one of two times of the day.
Night Watch
This activity involves maintaining safety and peace on the streets of three locations at night. If you notice a crime, you must either catch or kill the criminal.
Your faithful patrol dog will help the hero find crimes. He will lead the protagonist to the scenes of illegal activities. You will have to do everything from stopping fights, preventing horse thefts, and saving women from dangerous gangs.
You can use your lasso, hand-to-hand combat skills, or weapons. Of course, the choice of whether to leave the criminals alive is entirely up to you and depends on the severity of the crime. However, we advise using the lasso in simple situations: in this case, you will receive more money as a reward for your work.
Your shift will end once you stop a certain number of crimes: usually, it varies from 1 to 4. Let's look at each location.
MacFarlane's Ranch
Head to the marker on the mini-map marked with a crescent moon sign. It will also be marked with a yellow cross in the game world.
Once you get the patrol dog, follow him: he will lead you to the crime scene. For example, you might have to save a horse from being stolen. After completing your job, return to the place marked with a yellow cross to get paid for your work.
Chuparosa
Get to this town in Nuevo Paraiso, then head to the crescent moon icon and yellow cross.
Once you get the helper dog, follow him. For example, you might have to stop an armed fight and punish its instigators. Finally, to get paid for your work, head to the fountain and yellow cross.
Blackwater
The next job location is one of the most industrially developed cities in the game. The starting point awaits us in its lower part.
Together with a faithful patrol dog, we will fight horse thieves, jewelry robbers, and instigators of drunken brawls. After completing the work, you need to return to the starting point of this area.
Horse Breaking
A peaceful job involving taming and saddling wild horses, performed exclusively during the daytime, unlike the night watch.
The taming process consists of three stages: catching, saddling, and calming. First, you need to catch the horse using a lasso, then carefully approach and saddle it. The horse will start bucking, but it's important to maintain balance and not fall off. Over time, it will calm down, and you can deliver it to your employer.
To get paid for your work, you need to tame no more than one horse at a time. Let's look at the locations where you can tame wild animals.
Ridgewood Farm
A small ranch in the Cholla Springs region. To get the job, head to the outdoor pen. In the end, you will need to take the horse to the appropriate hangar.
Chuparosa
Once again, we need to head to the Nuevo Paraiso area, where near a special pen, we will be asked to help with horse training. Then it needs to be brought to the stable located there.
