Insider: GTA 6 release may be pushed back to 2026
According to the GTA Base portal, which cites sources inside Rockstar Games studios, the release of GTA 6 may have been pushed back to 2026. Presumably, the game will be released at the very beginning or closer to the middle of the year.
The insider was allegedly informed of this by employees from two studios owned by Rockstar. They also claim that the PC version of GTA 6 will be released only 12-18 months after the release on consoles.
There is no confirmation yet that this information is true, so the rumor should be taken with a grain of salt. Let us remind you that GTA 6 is still expected to be released in the fall of 2025 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Earlier, a Rockstar employee responded in a humorous manner to fans who began listing errors in the GTA 6 trailer.
