I think gta 5 will run on medium hardware, but there may be lags. This can be fixed by simply reducing the graphics. But on weaker hardware, it may start, but lags cannot be avoided. About laptops it's a different story altogether. For example, assassins creed 4 black flag will start on my laptop at medium graphics settings and almost did not lag, but there were some lags, but this is not scary. This game has a very large map and requires good characteristics of the laptop, but I have an average one. So gta 5 will work on laptops. And on stationary computers, so do not be intimidated by gta 5 will work on computers and laptops, but lags will be present.
I have a laptop ram-8gb AMD-A8-4500M 1.9 GHz processor 4 cores GTA 4 started, just lagged GTA V is unlikely to run on it because there is a very long drawing range, and if it starts, it will lag very much
