And here is a script without radii. It's just that the types of pickups are not removable, they will all be saved to the save file. And if, in the case of free ones, the type of pickup can be replaced with some 4 or 5, then there is no alternative for paid ones. Is that writing a more complex script that will delete everything itself. Well, yes - check the radii so that when the player is within the radius of any of the saves - also delete the pickup.
And this is not noticeable at first glance. It's just that one day some mission or some part of the location will start to cause stable departures. You have already deleted all mods, reinstall the game - and the crashes will remain in that exact place. This is because once some script corrupted the game variables, and after that you saved the game.
Well, the advice about adding a Liberty server to Discord is still valid. It is easier and more convenient to communicate and resolve various issues there.
The opposite approach is needed in scripting. Some scripts can ruin the game for people altogether. They will already delete your scripts, but after many, many missions, the game will simply break, tk. some of the wrong scripts overwrite the save. Well, in addition to saving, in principle, it is better to try to provide as much as possible, because we are not perfect and will still make a mistake in some way unintentionally. So why allow them on purpose, right?
Opcode 0209 is at the center of the if-else statement, although it is not conditional. If-else clauses must contain only conditional opcodes.
Further - checks of the received value: they are meaningless, since in opcode 0209 you have already specified the range from 1 to 999. The value will no longer be 0 or 999 in any way (if you specify the range 1-999, the total values will be in the range 1-998).
Well, among other things, as SpitFire wrote: it makes no sense to write a delay 2 times at the beginning and at the end of the cycle. One delay at the beginning of the cycle is enough in your case.
Why is the opcode for getting a random number in conditions? And then there is a check of the values, although the range is specified in the random opcode ...
This is not about modding itself, but about a conflict of interest. Apparently, they think that the RDR port on PC somehow hinders sales of RDR2 on PC.
Hmm, was there a similar news earlier this year, or am I confusing something? Also something about some Mexican ... to be honest, I don't really follow the news on the sixth part
Yes, ap_seaplanedock1.dff is not a fix, and the hangar model itself is not in the archive. avals343, please fill in a fix marked for reviewers - they will replace the archive
Chel, have not yet entered the tick "I am the author" - it is even better to keep the case of letters in the nickname in the "Author" column, because so far, the search for copyright files is not working.
It seems like a trifle, but a really great addition to improve the original and not spoil the atmosphere! The only thing - I would mention in the description that in addition to this model, it is desirable to put character models from the Anniversary Edition, otherwise Love's detailed hands will stand out.
Good job. Only advice - until you tick the box "I'm the author" - write your full nickname in the authors, otherwise the mod will not be in the author's list.
No, I was talking about another Sektor (the one I was talking about only worked with Weiss, I didn't touch the 2D gadgets). Yes, 2D GTA modmakers are hardly known to the majority now. Perhaps, on the contrary, it would be interesting from the point of view of interviews, but mb, on the contrary, would not find activity ... Yes, and these modmakers themselves are now probably difficult to access. Difficult topic, in short.
Damn, I'm kind of a relatively old man, but I don't know about them either. Only "Jernej L." sounds familiar, but instead of Sector I know Sektor (the creator of tools and mods mainly for Weiss), but this is most likely another person, and not the one you had in mind.
This is a really cool option. True, xs where to find him now ... Several years ago he gave an interview to some site dedicated to mods on Stalker, but since then disappeared from the radar ...
Nice, really cool and useful rubric. People, you offer ideas here at least - mb will coincide so that the administration will have time and the opportunity to contact those who are of interest to you.
I understand it's just more correct to work with that search for random cars. Otherwise, you end up with a lot of "empty" search passes, which is why it sometimes happens that the script will not work for some auto.
It was possible to leave separate scripts, and the player would compose the combination for himself. And so there are both individual scripts and combinations - which only confuses. But ok, anyway
Seemann, do you do anything else in the gaming industry? Or is it just GTA so far? Well, in general, I would like to know if there are any other projects or plans for the future.
“League of Authors" is just such a name. In fact, everyone is sitting there - both players and authors of varying degrees of experience. So still I advise this server! But in general - skill comes with practice. Everyone started with something.
I still see the same problems that were identified by me in the comment under the previous script. In principle, these are not critical problems, but still it is better to learn how to fix them before moving on to more complex scripts. Then further work will be built easier.
The idea is good, but there are schools with conditions (there are no "and" for multiple conditions, places inside conditions do not have conditional opcodes, etc.) Add to the Liberty City Authors League in Discord (link on the left side of the site), where you can cough up these issues.
Not a bad place to start, but: 1) In the stream "Money_2" there is an unnecessary "else_jump". Unnecessary, because there is no condition. 2) Pickups can spawn inside the building or generally noticeably below / above the ground. After calculating the necessary coordinates, you can also search for the nearest pedestrian paths from this point (opcode 02C0), then the money will not appear in places inaccessible to the player.
P.S. Add to the Liberty City Authors League in Discord (link on the left side of the site), where you can cough up these issues.
Well, just pass_deads 1 is the idea of skipping corpses, as in a similar opcode with a car. The peds have an intermediate state when a death check is triggered on them, but at the same time they are not considered a corpse. At this moment, the current version of the script apparently “catches” them. And with pass_deads 0 everything should be checked. But maybe something goes wrong for other reasons, xs.
Nice, but I would still set pass_deads 0 so that the script can delete not only those who died right now, but also the MB of those who died before the player came a sufficient distance, as well as those who died so quickly that the script did not manage to process them. Because with pass_deads 1, already "stiff" corpses are excluded from the search.
And if, in the case of free ones, the type of pickup can be replaced with some 4 or 5, then there is no alternative for paid ones. Is that writing a more complex script that will delete everything itself. Well, yes - check the radii so that when the player is within the radius of any of the saves - also delete the pickup.
