Thanks, you're a genius! For some reason I don't understand, adding the # didn't work. I added the # to the line you recommended, tried adding earshot again and got the same result. Then I set it to false like you originally said I should—and it worked!

Yes, I did. I set the value to false and also added a # to fully disable the setting in model extras.ini. After that, I re-added Earshot.asi, but the same message still appears: “plugin incompatible,” and the game closes when loading the save.
All the files from your mod are correctly installed in my game — the only one I had to leave out is Earshot. If I include Earshot, ModelExtra detects it and prevents the save from loading, causing the game to crash.

I’ve tried adding custom sounds to the ModelExtras/sound/weapon folder, but after a few minutes of gameplay, the game crashes unexpectedly. I suspect it might be related to how Earshot is handling the audio files, but I’m not sure if I’m missing a required config or if there’s a compatibility issue. Do you have any advice on how to properly set up Earshot within ModelExtras? Is there a specific format, naming convention, or limit I should be aware of when adding sounds? Если правильно бы упаковать мод то можно запустить и заценить твою роботу, у меня почему то не работает, или возможно только на мощных компьютеров запускается, из за того что возможно графика изменена.
its clearly stated it needs essential, and i do not support Cleo 5, cleo 5 is still not as stable as cleo v4.4.4 1. it needs cleo+ install it 2. why did you install it in modloader, its supposed to be installed in the root of the game
just drag and drop everything from the root folder of the mod to your game and it will work fine

Este mod mejora el gta vice city un 200% el unico inconveniente que veo es que los efectos de humo hace que el juego se laguee muchisimo incluso con una pc moderna, cosas como el humo del helicoptero, las granadas de humo y etc, ojala pudieran arreglar ese fallo, de resto el mod es una locura :)
