What did I do? You just need to read the article. Problems with the launch of old games that arose and do not occur for everyone.
And what about mod bans? I'm talking about fixes that allow you to run games in a wide format and on modern hardware and systems. Of course, they banned according to the requirements of T2, and not Rockstar, because. The lawyers who deal with game publishing issues are in T2's legal department, not Rockstar. Rockstar naturally cannot object, tk. publishing rights belong to T2.

Why bomb? It would be naive and rather stupid to think that a large Rockstar company will return the originals in some new form with a bunch of fixes for new hardware. What was removed from the stores, then returned. Why would rockstar fix something there if they didn't fix games and sold them for years without any problems? Moreover, in the next six months they will try to fix the Trilogy to a sane state, so there is no time to be distracted by old games. This is logical and expected.
To some extent, I'm even glad that Rockstar, whose games I liked for more than 15 years, shows its true rotten insides, and does not try to please old fans of the GTA series.

The Rocks have to buy 10 thousand bucks each fix from modders who have already rid the original games of diseases 15-20 years ago. How did they do it with a person who fixed a long-term bug with loading GTA Online in the evening.
Otherwise, the AAA-company with billions of dollars in revenue and crooked developers will not fix anything, but will put a tick on the list of previously given promises. After all, the rocks promised to return the bugged "originals" to those who bought the under-remake Trilogy in the RG launcher, while they are trying to finish it to a more or less sellable level. The word was kept. Mo-Lo-dtsy!

Well, turn on your brain and re-read what I wrote again, slowly, if it is not clear.
Then take a calculator and figure out how Rockstar made $6 billion by selling only 145-150 million copies of GTA V/GTAO with all regional prices and discounts. Have you heard of shark cards? Apparently not. If you calculate on a calculator, you will find out approximately how much they bring in the company's income.
And about the Rockstar deflection, remember how they turned off servers around the world in support of BLM. Removed Confederate flags from Trilogy. But probably, “this is different”, this is not a deflection. Let's see what they remove from the GTA V remaster.

Absolutely everyone can express dissatisfaction: those who bought the game on pre-order or at the start of sales, who are going to buy, potential buyers and just those who are interested in this product - this is the basis for criticism.
Already at the pre-order stage, many players saw the hack that Rockstar offered them, but some still hoped that the release version would be better, and therefore did not cancel the pre-order. But there are those who canceled the pre-order, and they did it CORRECTLY, you should not encourage low-quality hack-work with the dollar, ruble or euro.
For example, I might buy the Trilogy with new graphics, but not the AAA crap they sell. Even Cyberpunk now looks better against the backdrop of the failure of the Trilogy (and there is a discount for it), and it has been partially fixed, you can buy and play it, all the more it is much more interesting than the old hackneyed plots of the Trilogy with old scripts, animations and low-poly plasticine models...

Of course it will be different. After all, if the next story game is released in 10-12 years, and not as before, every few years, then everything has changed in the gaming industry a long time ago: “effective” managers in large companies require developers to make donation dumps with aggressive monetization, i. To. they are easier/cheaper to make, and they bring exorbitant profits. And the world itself has changed: something that could still be joked about 5-10 years ago is banned today. Today it is quite difficult to come up with an original plot so that God forbid, God forbid, offend any of the “untouchable” groups.
So yes, Rockstar will focus on Online already based on GTA 6, the story part will be mediocre, but not bad (still hoping). Yes, the rockers have long realized that online with a few updates brings much more profit than just selling licensed copies, especially selling on discs (where the production and distribution of discs is a big expense).

Quite original for RP. We didn’t think of this, although there are a lot of these RP projects.
Maybe then the rockers in some new update of GTAO / RDO will “think up” that they enter games using QR codes for discounts and goodies =) if, of course, a pharmaceutical company brings them a couple of lards of evergreens.

Why funny?
Some buy games and play, others create mods. Everyone does what interests him.
What now, if they are banned, sit in a corner and cry? This is what “effective” T2/Rockstar managers achieve. If you do what they want: humbly consume the crap that they roll out on the market, sing odes to modern slag, treat with understanding their “sincere” apologies for selling a low-quality product (who needs these apologies?); then they won, because modern developers and publishers essentially do not care about players and fans, for them they are just consumers of garbage that can be sold dearly for the sake of another excellent financial performance for the quarter, which managers will gladly report to investors.
So mods and bug fixes are the interest of people who want to play the game they expected, and not the one that Rockstar threw into the gaming market. And as the company's practice shows, this business will not be brought to an end, the last patch will be released in a year and they will be forgotten, why waste resources on fixing garbage if you have been quietly selling buggy originals for 20 years? People eat, and those who are dissatisfied will be recognized as toxic. And the opinion of toxic players and fans in large companies is not taken into account. The company does not care what the fans want, the loot rules!

High blur for icons, and too strong (opaque) glow. On 4K monitors, you can still see details, but on monitors with a lower resolution, a glowing spot is obtained.
If you look at real neon tubes, they have clear contours and weak light.
And, perhaps, it would have been better to do not a gradient of the image, but a contour in the form of tubes (a schematic representation of a weapon), but this must be drawn by hand with tubes of the same thickness. For each type of weapon, you can use your own tube color, and depict the gradient on the backlight (background)
P.S. something like this https://imgur.com/a/NtxRLAP

Of course, it would be possible, but then for developers who decide to do porting, popular foreign platforms and services, such as GTAForums, YouTube, etc., will be closed.
The T2 agreement will not allow porting any large-scale projects.
And modding itself for the Definitive Edition is unofficially allowed, while fixing critical and noticeable bugs in the release. Then the lawyers will again continue to tighten the screws, prohibiting more or less significant mods.

This should be asked of the author. I can ask him, but I don’t know what kind of transport he is currently working with, and when he will be able to make an Elegy, because. transport models in all three games are several hundred
Another would be a script so that cars on a shovel fly up with acceleration.
It seems that there was such a script on the Rampa from Avtoman or someone else

And why all this stupid trolling?
It seems that it was already explained everywhere on all platforms that the game is crap, even Rockstar officially agreed with this a week after the release. No, we must continue to talk nonsense about “forced - did not force”, “whiners”, “toxics”.
“This is a remaster, not a remake” (c) idiot of the year

Rockstar has stated that they are going to work on fixing technical bugs in patches and bringing the Trilogy to the quality that the games deserve.
As the failure of the release Trilogy showed, the small GSG team involved in ports of games is unable to make a product without numerous bugs. Therefore, it is likely that the programmers and testers of one of the Rockstar studios will take care of the corrections and improvements.
But even if two or three people from GSG will deal with the patches, it doesn't matter. This product is the responsibility of developer/publisher Rockstar Games.

You should not rejoice ... These are now working with mobile versions of the Trilogy
Hooray! Modders can forget about fix mods. Rockstar will solve everything =)
1000 and 1 bug will be fixed... within 5 years
P.S. And there and an adequate price tag will drive up. STIM, we believe in you and we are waiting for you!

Do you understand the difference between a remake and a remaster? Both a remaster and a full-fledged remake can give a second wind, only the difference is in implementation.
I do not forbid you to spend money on games, on the contrary, have fun, relax, enjoy games, both expensive and not very expensive, I'm all for it. But it annoys me when some people call others CIS rogues, toxic Russians, when they praise this 60 bucks bugged garbage called "Trilogy - Definitive Edition" and justify the actions of AAA developers and publishers. People spent 60 bucks (like an average AAA game) and what did the publisher do? That's right, pissed everyone off. Because of this crap that was released, I couldn’t play GTA Online for more than a day (I had to run it alone through a plugin from modmakers who are spread rot on T2 / Rockstar), someone could not run other games through RGL all over the world, and even these most purchased ones nedoremake on PC stupidly could not be run "for technical reasons" ... And what do we hear a week later from the developer / publisher of AAA games? "Sincere" apologies and promises to improve everything to the quality that the trilogy deserves. A complete remake? No, it's too fat for fans, a cheap port of old games to a new engine with minimal improvements is enough, because fans are grabbing (according to Rockstar's idea) on a wave of "nostalgia" and hype.
And if there was an initially digestible product, at least of average quality of implementation (here the console players were more fortunate in comparison with the original games on PS2), it’s not a pity to give 60 bucks for “nostalgia” in the Trilogy of cult games from the AAA company.
Who gave the right to insult and belittle the opinion of those who give negative criticism to a poor raw product, if it really and objectively is such? Even the rockies, a week later, are forced to officially admit it. Without this criticism, the product would have remained at that low level, what it is now - *mat*. And there would be no apologies and no plans to fix and refine this product. Now the publisher just doesn't want to lose money. That's why all these "sincere" apologies and promises to finish something there in the future came out. It was necessary to think earlier, before the release of the GTA Trilogy - Definitive Edition product.

And here the CIS countries? Some mediocrity said, others repeat. Yes, I'd rather take 5 turkeys for 10 bucks than this *mat*.
How much did GTA V AAA cost on PC at the time of release? The same 60 bucks (I'm not talking about regional prices now). Game from ZERO, 65 GB of disk space, development cost 137 million dollars, almost the same in marketing costs.
And what do you get in the Trilogy for 60 bucks, which before the remake was like before the moon, and hardly anyone allocated even 50 million to work with?
A beautiful graphon with eye-catching rain, a mirror ocean (which reflects everything at random), overexposure and shading, is it beautiful? tolerably for modern graphics, from some indie studio. But they left miserable models, animation, sounds, scripts working at random, collision ... a bunch of bugs, both old and new.
This is a combination of incongruous, and they ask for 60 bucks for this daub.
Do you like to buy raw food for 60 bucks? we don’t want to lose the money that the fans have paid us and will pay us more.” The main thing is to promise and "sincerely apologize for the low quality of the product being sold" from the AAA company.
Look at how many different publishers have postponed game releases this year amid the failure of Cyberpunk, also a new game from scratch, and not some kind of under-remake.
I don't understand why people pay like crazy 60 bucks for an updated version of "nostalgia" and smear themselves with this substance. It smacks of some kind of masochism.

Apologizing for the sale of a raw product among igrodelov is now fashionable, this will not surprise anyone.
This rubbish is not worth 60 bucks, but they sold it to you under the sauce of AAA games, and then they apologized and promised to fix critical bugs in a few “planned” updates, but the rocks do not promise to make candy out of shit. As there were low-poly models, they will remain so, as there were miserable animations and sounds, they will remain so.

Great, it's so cool to sell in large quantities on the wave of hype
and with the receipt of a big profit, a miserable under-remake for 60 bucks, and then a week later say “sorry, we sold you an absolutely raw product here, which was advertised as something cool, and now we will give back the bugged junk of the 2000s, someday (in a couple of years ) we will try to fix the significant bugs of the under-remaster on the new engine, just do not demand a refund.”
This is wonderful! I have never seen such humiliation of fans from Rockstar.

I must say thanks to such teams, because. thanks to such modders, GTA modding is holding on, and has not slipped to the level of “changing the skin of the main character”.
Silly theory. Does GSG have access to GTA 6 resources? Or did Rockstar decide to give screenshots from GTA 6 as an Easter egg to a team that can’t even port games normally?
Most likely, the GSG team searched the net or on the streets (yes, the studio is located in Gainesville, Florida) for a similar house and took a picture.
Perhaps for some reason the AI was unable to restore the image. As game resource diggers have already noticed, the GSG team sometimes stupidly took images from the Internet.

If Bond films came out every 10-20 years, then there would hardly be fans.
And an annual phenomenon (which run out of ideas, filling the game often with garbage content) has long been the various DLCs that are stuffed online. I understand that GTA can be developed in different directions and release new games every 10-15 years with new maps and plots (which for some reason are not yet online), but what can you think of with RDR X / RDO to release a new full-fledged a game that will also become commercially successful like RDR2/RDO? “We are waiting” for RDR 3 no earlier than 2030, unless, of course, T2 considers whether it is profitable to spend money on its development, when it is possible to release all sorts of updates without bothering and for an inexpensive price.
Promises to release a new franchise game sometime in the distant future are just promises that can be abandoned at any time due to low financial performance. The fans suck, the publisher is on horseback, to put it bluntly.

the whole model is more smoothed, volumetric steering wheel, higher resolution textures... the model is not HQ, so there will be no noticeable difference... from the original Infernus, a collision with a shadow, damage details were added (apparently, the developers did not bother with improving the damage details, according to mod author).
Don't forget that the license is from T2/Rockstar, they didn't allow modding.
And the record from GSG is more like a banter. Isn't this file overwritten when you change settings when starting the game?
In addition, they allow editing only one file, and not everything that they rolled out under the name "Trilogy".

3-3.5 out of 5, thanks to the UE graphics (except for the dull skyboxes, flower painter, mirror ocean and eye-catching painted rain).
Over the past few days, I have reviewed several streams both on the PS5 platform and on the PC (with RTX 3080), the optimization in the already crossed hedgehog - RW and UE leaves much to be desired, because. there are noticeable fps drawdowns on top-end hardware.
And I noticed a trend of division of opinion about the fact that this is a remaster or a remake. Old models, scripts, animations speak in favor of the remaster, in favor of the remake - a new engine with new graphics, vegetation, improving and changing models, chips from GTA V like a weapon / radio selection wheel and mini-maps with GPS tracking. I'm more and more inclined that this is an under-remake, and not just a remaster. And the Rockstars themselves do not define the Trilogy as a simple remaster.

I know that GSG worked on the trilogy, but they also interacted with Rockstar, consulted, took materials and tools from them. The rockstar team was satisfied with the final result, they approved all the work done, because they are the sponsors of the project. I do not think that T2 was the customer, because. she's just a publisher, albeit one that gets most of the sales revenue.
In principle, responsible for the result are both GSG, which completed the order at an average level, and Rockstar, which decided to shift work on the trilogy to a third-party studio that previously only dealt with porting games from Rockstar.

We consulted with artists, used a bunch of modern tools, took a new, good engine, but still made characters that did not look like the originals in general features, and even “inflated” the models to plasticine forms, but no one explained to us what was needed with the addition of polygons and adjust the vertices again to the skeleton so that the arms and legs do not arch in animations, and all the details of clothing (seams, belts, pockets) do not stretch.
Fans of the series, sorry, we really tried to keep the atmosphere of the original games, but our hands are growing from nowhere, but there are no brains how to do it right.
It's not our fault, these are all your high expectations, buy remasters, you will like them.

Yeah, trolling from the developers. Even the license plate of the car says "1YY25", which means that GTA 6 will be released in 2025.
I will add for those who are just flowing from the new engine, the work done by the developers and the low price of 60 bucks for the trilogy - a miserable skybox and a mirror ocean

The developers did not bother with the scripts (vehicles without drivers in cut scenes), and the vaunted lighting with reflections is done mediocre (the light is reflected on the asphalt even if there are obstacles like wheels), the light of car lights is not reflected on the wet asphalt (as if not at all sources of light), it is not clear what is happening with the shadows, it seems to be there and it seems not.
Are these really remasters with super graphical improvements on the new engine that the developers promised?

I think Grove Street Games were in a hurry for the date, for the anniversary.
But even if they weren’t in a hurry, I doubt that even in 5 years of development (if they had been given that much time) they would have been able to notice and fix the jambs with the objects of the original games on all square kilometers of the maps and simply remake hundreds of characters, peds and vehicles. If screenshots can be taken on different builds, then I don't think the trailer was made on older builds. And the trailer is full of jambs, both with the models of the central characters, and with the graphics, but they showed only a very small part of the remasters, i.e. what is happening with the rest of the map models, objects, vehicles and characters, one can only guess.
In any case, there are a few days left before the release. Then it will be possible to evaluate the result of their work.

Yes, it would be better if the developers did a remake than a remaster from a second-rate studio ... even if a couple of years later.
A large number of remasters are almost all models of characters and vehicles in all three games, as well as with a large number of objects, such as lampposts, traffic lights, i.e. everything that will come across in the first and second plans. Yes, you can see that the polygonal meshes of the main characters have been partially improved (I can’t say for peds), but there is another jamb - this is rigging and old animations, because of which the models become plasticine, hold objects and weapons at random, walk crookedly. Another question about badly drawn skyboxes and rain. It is quite possible that there will also be problems with scripts and collisions. I won't say much about the textures, some are done quite well, others are terrible, and even in places they are superimposed crookedly. UE could do better if you tried.
Why do I think these remasters are bad and do not deserve high marks? Yes, in the original, the graphics were not very good, but that was the balance: the low quality of the graphics corresponded to the low quality of the models and textures. And now this balance is gone: low-poly models with poor scans and animations against beautiful graphics with new effects and reflections. As a result, the atmosphere of the original car thief games and crime just disappeared, leaving bright pictures of spots.
If you use low-poly models in cartoons or games, you can't change the graphics a lot and bring it up to modern with a lot of special effects, because. there is a strong skew, and the final picture becomes terrible, especially if 4K is initially announced.
I once wrote (when there were no videos and screenshots yet) that 60 bucks for these remasters is the maximum, now I understand what kind of quality of performance and 30 bucks is the limit.

It was possible to shovel the old engine, but Rockstar thought and decided that it would be much cheaper to give the trilogy to the development of a third-party company than to make good remasters of games with their own studios. There would be no need to study UE, optimize games, try to cross a snake with a hedgehog (low poly, scripts and animation with new graphics), and the cost of remasters would be lower, which is good for T2's financial statements. Yes, and all the bumps will bring down the Grove Street Games studio. Very handy for Rockstar. Therefore, such a hack turned out, where beautiful graphics were pulled onto the old “skeleton” of the game, which in many ways turned out well thanks to the new engine, and not the work done by the developers. And the developers themselves did not bother much, who, for a couple of dollars, would try hard to remake games for a new engine.
I understand the point of a remaster and the high price of a remaster for such quality of remasters on PC, PS4/5, Xbox. it’s stupid for a seller to lower the price at the start of sales, and you need to seize the moment to earn as much as possible on the expectations of fans of the series and new players, as long as there is interest.
But I'm talking about the price for Switch, if with such characteristics and such a small (1920 * 1080 - this is a new Switch model) game screen, players get soap for a price of more than 5 tr. Of course, it's normal that Switch games are expensive, but it's a remaster, with better graphics than the original games. With the same quality of graphics, it would be much cheaper to get default games on the old engine if they were ported and added a few graphical improvements.
For sure, for mobile platforms there will be the same quality of graphics as on Switch, but with an inflated price tag.

Then what was the point of doing remasters? If at a "low" resolution (screenshots are presented in 1920 * 1080) such nonsense for an inadequate price tag ...
You are lying!
These are screenshots from the alpha-beta-gamma versions, because there is no traffic anywhere, except for a couple of cars placed by scripts, and the final of the remasters will surprise you with its awesome graphics, which GTA V / RDR 2 players never dreamed of, because RAGE sucks, UE rules !

I don't know if they posted here, a few more screenshots from the Rockstar Store
(you can click on the platforms, and there will be different screenshots, textures are worse on Switch)

The cover of the video corresponds, - Yegor cuts the loot.
We scold Rockstar for their exchange of fans for loot, while they themselves are ready to donate to all sorts of popular mediocrities (singers, YouTubers ...) that have bred for GTA RP, pumping and other garbage projects. People do not value their time and spend money in all sorts of donation dumps. But they may well be happy.
The world has changed, there is more chaos: popular actors, musicians, singers, hockey players, presenters climb into advertising for huge fees, as if a chocolate bar or a game would be better if Creed advertises it, and not a professional advertising actor. In terms of attracting suckers, it's definitely better. Hmm...

In the remasters (trilogy), the trees are worse than in GTA V, because models have fewer polygons. It's not about the GTA V remaster.
If you open 4K screenshots and compare, then there and there are different models of spruce and bushes. This can be easily seen in the small branches on the crown of the trees and in the textures.

Due to the toxic atmosphere of recent years in Rockstar, there is no hope for an early release of the GTA 6 game: Dan Houser's script is being rewritten by new wise men (tolerance rules), subjected to strict censorship, accordingly, changes are being made to the game under development, the announcement will not take place soon, because for the GTA 5 remaster no earlier than spring 2023.
So people are left to buy GTA 5 licenses for the sake of the GTA Online sandbox (especially if they are periodically banned), where you can do all sorts of game. And I will say more, the players continue to donate large sums into it.

Where is stronger?
There are more maps in Sanka, there are more objects, characters and vehicles, there are an order of magnitude more textures than in GTA III / VC, of course, even when you stupidly increase the resolution of textures, the archives grow, and not because more has been done in some game changes. Plasticine models here and there, the reflections are basically the same, but there will be more jambs in Sanka because of the larger number of models that have undergone changes, and because the remasters were made in a short period of time.
It's still a trilogy, not a remaster of a single game. Therefore, it is logical not to work on changing any one game in connection with its anniversary, but to approach three games in the same way, with which the developers “successfully” coped. By the anniversaries of Weiss and Sanka, this trilogy will not change, it is the final one (which is what the name of the trilogy says).

If you look at the level of detail and the quality of the textures, then this screenshot is far from what we are offered to buy under the sauce of remasters.
So yes, this screenshot does not belong to the GTA trilogy (maybe the world of dinosaurs, or the left screen when fiddling with the engine settings). Despite the better tree models and textures in the remasters, the tree and grass models will remain low-poly and clumsy, at a level lower than GTA V), and on the screen the detailing of trees (can be compared by the quality of small branches without leaves), stones and grass is higher.

Perhaps it was necessary to add polygons to the door and the rear fenders to the trunk, for a sharper angle, otherwise it visually turns out to be a recession with a large slope

What the hell is this about lights in San Andreas? These lights are aircraft lights, made for realism. If you remove the speed limit, then you can catch up, and it will be just a flickering dot, leaving behind a line like the trajectory of an aircraft. It seems that there is something similar in Vice City, although there are flying planes there, but they were removed in Sanka (or they were not added so as not to interfere with missions at airfields).
Only idiots talk about whining fans (sorry, but it's true). Fans scold and criticize rather than whine, and criticism is often constructive and justified.
