1. What's the problem with putting everything you need in the mod folder? These scripts weigh a little. 2. Try to follow the link from the article and install yourself "RoSA Project Evolved 2021". Maybe it won't work for you either.
There is such a thing, minimalism. One of its principles is that there should be nothing superfluous.
I only need high quality textures... Please make sure to install them in one step. Neither ASI Loader nor ModLoader is in the mod folder. That is, they need to be searched for and installed separately. For me, this ends up with a constant crash of the game or the disappearance of textures altogether.
Still, you can put the necessary additions for its work in the archive with the mod, add detailed instructions in Russian, test it on different versions of the game. It's not that hard.
I danced with a tambourine for over an hour trying to install "RoSA Project Evolved 2021" and in the end nothing worked.
I have never been able to install it. Is it really difficult for a developer to ensure that the player can carry out the installation in one action: by moving the mod files into the GTA San Andreas folder.
No, to install a texture (!) Mod, you definitely need a Modloader. For which you need an ASI loader. Brilliant! And it's kind of like a version optimized for mobile devices (are you sure it will work on a PC?).
Someone, make a normal PC version of this mod without having to use Modloader. To just take it, move it to the folder with clean GTA San Andreas, confirm the replacement of files and go ahead.
p.s. Alternatively, you can archive ASI Loader, ModLoader, mod files and a text file with detailed installation instructions. And also check the whole thing on different versions of the game (1.0, 1.1, Steam, RGL).
In general, it is annoying when the authors of global mods do not explain the installation process normally or create some uncomfortable conditions.
Why is texture mod only available for modloader? Firstly, I don't like modloader, I've been installing mods manually all my life. Secondly, it needs an asi-loader, which is a separate hemorrhoid.
What's the problem with making an option for people who want to set this whole thing up manually?
p.s. Upload to the site the version of RoSA for manual installation with all patches, I will be grateful.
The mod passed, as well as the first part was installed on the Steam version without any problems. The game design is great, it feels like it's not a fan mod, but an official mission pack from Rockstar Games. The mission at the construction site was especially difficult for me, but I was still able to pass it on the fifth attempt. I also had to sweat in the second task "Behind the Glass". I was pleasantly surprised while going through the episode with the tank. Only a true fan of the series could have made a mission with Phil just like that! Also for me was a very interesting moment with a radio-controlled car. Well, the task in which you need to remember the location of the fire department is also quite well thought out.
Thanks for the work done, I hope there will be a few more parts ahead :)
Are they so poor that they can't keep servers running on older consoles? There are not as many people playing there as in 2013-2014, the workload is much lower. But there was an archived version online straight from 2015...
They do in the US too. This is done so that people are more actively vaccinated. The pandemic has a negative impact on the global economy, so the governments of different countries are interested in making it end as quickly as possible.
And what, political propaganda was allowed in the comments? If you have oppositional views, this does not mean that you need to promote them on the gaming site. The man put forward an erroneous thesis, I refuted it. p.s. There are many highly qualified professionals in Russia, including in the field of medicine.
Or, instead of writing this comment, you could spend time using a search engine and finding information about trials of a new Russian tuberculosis vaccine.
> GamTBvac is a TB vaccine that contains three Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacillus antigen fragments.
We thought of it on the largest Russian-language SAMP project. Only there it is not a one-time action, but a common procedure: players come to the hospital, receive two components of the vaccine at a certain interval. Within six months, the character will not be able to get covid (such a disease is registered in the game mod).
The article is very interesting, I learned a lot about the development of Liberty City Stories. For me, this is one of my favorite parts of GTA, I went through it three or four times even before the release of the remaster on Android. How masterfully Dan Houser was able to develop the GTA III characters in the prequel is impressive :)
p.s. But the information about modding is still double-check. In my opinion, the LCS port to the San Andreas engine was never brought to mind, limited to converting part of the city and a dozen missions. A high-quality Re:LCS based on Vice City, as far as I know, was created by a completely different team. There, even in the Readme file, they are asked not to confuse the mod with the LCS PC Edition. It’s a pity that I also fell under Take-Two sanctions in September ...
This proved to be a significant technical challenge, because by taking the old code and carrying it over into a new renderer, the developer had two different engines running parallel with each other. "This brings a lot of technical headaches," says Rosado. “But it gave us what we wanted. Here's the game as it felt. But we also wanted to take advantage of the effects available in the new renderer, which enabled us to do far more than just add a new lighting effect here or there. You have a whole toolbox to play with. We also had plugins for current generation consoles, which made our lives a lot easier when it came to supporting those platforms."
Key Phrase: “This turned out to be a major technical problem because, by taking the old code and porting it to the new renderer, the developer got two different engines running in parallel to each other".
If your computer does not pull new parts of the Assassin's Creed series, this is not a reason to insult them. Find yourself a job and build, finally, a normal computer. And then you obviously have an abyss of free time.
p.s. Just a person who played Origins, Odyssey or Valhalla will not carry such nonsense.
One of my favorite game series that was relaunched in 2017 as an Action RPG. Assassin's Creed Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla are great open-world games with well-designed environments and interesting game mechanics. For these parts, a huge amount of free additional content was released, and support for Valhalla was extended by popular demand for another year. Ubisoft is doing the right thing by developing single player games.
p.s. There's nothing wrong with games being released relatively often. Ubisoft has dozens of studios and a huge number of employees, which allows you to support game series and quickly release new parts. At the same time, the bitter experience of Assassin's Creed Unity forced Ubisoft to seriously check the quality of their new games, making it almost impossible to run into bugs in modern parts. p.p.s. Moderators, check Windoomer's comment for compliance with site rules. The phrase "your crowing" sounds like a veiled insult.
You go to the Rockstar website, click the Games tab, and you see GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition there. Correctly apologize, it was they who allowed this misunderstanding to come out.
https://www.rockstargames.com/games GTA Trilogy The Definitive Edition is on the list of games published by Rockstar Games.
Games from other publishers that are subsidiaries of Take-Two Interactive are not sold in the Rockstar Launcher. Something I do not see there NBA and Mafia from 2K Games.
Internal - one in which the publisher releases only their titles. It is closed to other publishers. Open - one in which games from different publishers are freely published.
Rockstar Games Launcher is Rockstar's internal launcher and is not for third party games. It is more correct to compare with Ubisoft Connect or Origin.
The author of the courses is not your immediate supervisor, an incorrect example. Anything added to the Rockstar Games Launcher should, in theory, go through Rockstar's Quality Assurance department. It's directly Rockstar's fault for letting such a low quality product into their launcher.
The director of Grove Street Games describes the project as follows: “I see a lot of happy players from our last announcement. It was two years of hard and calm work with our amazing friends Rockstar Games. What a wonderful meeting!

In order to express an opinion or rate a comment, you can register on the site. And moderators, in turn, will be able to check how many accounts one person owns.
And the fact that remasters are disgusting hack is not an opinion, but an objective reality. The "craftsmen" from Grove Street Games have piled a fetid heap and are selling it to players for twice the price of a remake of the first Mafia.
Turn off the ability for guests to rate comments. It turns out a strange picture: LibertyCity users mainly support criticism of the remaster, and guests increase the rating of its defenders. I think it's suspicious.
Where did you get the information about buying a new version of the engine? Give an exact quote and a link to an authoritative source. And so it is quite possible to modify to the level of Need for Speed Most Wanted 2012. This seems to be the last game to use Renderware.
Let me remind you again that in 2015 they quietly released a modified version of GTA San Andreas on the Playstation 3. I doubt that this version brought any cosmic profits.
We don't know under what terms Rockstar used the Renderware engine. Documents relating to this are not in the public domain. The claim that Rockstar cannot modify games that have already been released on this engine is not supported by anything and is successfully refuted by mobile ports.
Nothing prevented them from modifying this engine for re-releases on mobile platforms and sixth generation consoles. On December 2, 2015, an updated version of GTA San Andreas for Playstation 3 was released. If there were no problems in 2015, why are there now?
Have you ever played the original CoD 4 Modern Warfare and its remaster? I get the feeling that it doesn't. The level of graphics has increased significantly. Everything that could have been significantly reworked and improved. Shooting mechanics are close to the modern parts of Call of Duty.
Putting this great game and a model of how to do remasters on a par with the re-releases of Mafia II and Crysis is wrong.
One point out of five. We could just add achievements to the originals, all official localizations and make a couple of fixes to the engine: adapt the interface for wide screens, improve the frame limiter (30/60/120 fps) and solve compatibility issues with modern operating systems. In this case, the original atmosphere and appearance of the characters would not be affected.
This is my favorite part of the trilogy, I play it every year. Launched for the last time today. City in GTA III - gloomy, autumn and realistic. With an incredible range of drawing for 2001. https://i.imgur.com/oJptRuk.png The developers of the remaster did not understand this style at all.
And about the "scribble". Actually, I am quoting Sam Houser himself, under whose leadership in 2001 not a cartoon was created, but an interactive gangster film. And if you put his words and your writing on the scales, it is obvious that the words of Sam Houser have much more value.
I won't get used to the disfigured characters of GTA Vice City, because back in 2013 I bought the GTA trilogy on Steam and I can always play the originals :)
p.s. If you don’t know, then don’t write nonsense about motion capture technology. Read, finally, David Kushner's book "Theft: The True Story of GTA". From the tenth chapter you will learn the following: “To bring the 3D world to life, they rented a motion capture studio at the Brooklyn Shipyard. To direct the episodes, Rockstar hired a plucky young Iranian director, Navid Khonsari. Sam and Dan relentlessly repeated their GTA III mantra to him: "Realistic, realistic, and more realistic."
It's sad that the remaster of the greatest trilogy in the history of the gaming industry was entrusted to a small team of 20 developers whose professionalism is questionable. For comparison, the same Ubisoft entrusted the development of Assassin's Creed III Remastered to its studio Ubisoft Barcelona, which has a hundred employees.
It's nice to see that LibertyCity.Ru is developing successfully, don't slow down :)

In 2021, I only completed the second part of Lava Disappearance for GTA III.
