Note that the developers removed Darkel long before the September 11 terrorist attacks. And one more thing: there is a list of missions circulating on the Internet that Darkel was supposed to give to the player. Almost all the missions from this list are fake (i.e. there were no Darkel missions even on paper). What is not fake is the mission ''I Scream, You Scream'' (in this mission, Claude had to kill passers-by with an ice cream truck that was filled with explosives). In the release version of the game, the developers transferred this mission to another boss - El Burro, changing the structure - the explosion of the aforementioned van is directed not against passers-by, but against the Forelli mafia clan (it is noteworthy that the Forellis are neutral towards the Diablos gang throughout the game).
About Franco Forelli - he was killed by Claude (in the first mission given to Joey Leone). Next... Darko Brevich - if Niko leaves Darko alive, then he (Darko) will run away to the runway, where he will die in an accident. In any case, Darko Brevic will not play any significant role in the plot of GTA IV. Something like this... And further. It's a pity that Pete Vance (brother of Vic and Lance) is missing from the list of characters. As we know, Pete Vance is occasionally mentioned in GTA Vice City Stories by Vic and Lance. Vic’s goal is to raise money for Pete’s treatment (he suffers from severe asthma). Pete's fate by 1986 remains unknown. Maybe by the time GTA Vice City takes place he will no longer be alive...
What nonsense? How come there were no official localizations? Grand Theft Auto 2 was the very first game in the series to be localized into Russian (in 2000, I think).
One of the radio station's jingles features a fragment of the song "Le Freak" by Chic. The beat from El Chicano - Viva Tirado was sampled in the song Kid Frost - La Raza, which appears on Radio Los Santos in GTA San Andreas. Some of Mama G's lines include, "If you want something to play with, go find yourself a toy," referencing another Aaron Neville song, "Tell It Like It Is" " DJ Mama G says, "I'll release both of these motherfuckers!" ("I'm gonna unload both these motherfuckers!"), a reference to Quentin Tarantino's Jackie Brown, when Jackie Brown (played by Pam Grier) points two pistols at Ordell Robbie (played by Samuel L. Jackson, who in GTA San Andreas voiced officer Frank Tenpenny) and says: "I'll release both of these bastards (magazines) if you don't do what I tell you." (Imma unload both these motherfuckers if you don't do what I tell you to do). The Jackson Sisters - I Believe In Miracles plays during the final part of Prison Break in GTA Online (extended version only, i.e. PS4/XboxOne/PC/PS5/Xbox X/S versions of the game).
I still have big doubts that S.W.A.T. was obtained honestly. If, after ramming the entrance to Big Smoke's hideout, drive S.W.A.T. to the garage; and then complete the End Of The Line mission in the standard way (as usual), then he (S.W.A.T.) will disappear from the garage. Then what happens? Surely a trainer was used here. Or a car-spawner.
When I played through this Manhunt for the first time, I forgot about everything and couldn’t tear myself away. It's a pity that RockStar is unlikely to release something like this now...
Well, admit it? How was S.W.A.T obtained? In an honest way? Or a car-spawner? Or maybe a trainer? In general, no rating. P.S. Is there a pink tank in the game?
The problem here is this: from a theoretical point of view (pre-production), the idea is quite feasible, but practice (direct film adaptation and post-production) is doomed to failure. And the Grand Theft Auto series is no exception.
