Although the PC version of Grand Theft Auto 6 has yet to be officially announced, some players are already concerned that Rockstar Games might implement Denuvo anti-piracy software. Notorious hacker Empress has vowed to crack the protection if it ends up being part of the game.

It's still unclear whether Denuvo will be used in GTA 6, as Rockstar has never employed the software in any of its previous titles. However, following her recent return to the scene, Empress stated that she already has plans for the project:

Empress rose to prominence as one of the few hackers capable of cracking Denuvo’s notoriously difficult protection. Just days ago, she announced her comeback after a lengthy hiatus. Her true identity remains unknown, fueling ongoing speculation and intrigue within the gaming community.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to launch this fall for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. A PC version has not yet been officially confirmed.

Recently, Take-Two Interactive’s CEO explained that Rockstar is holding off on releasing a second trailer for GTA 6 for strategic marketing reasons.
