Rockstar Games has quietly updated the Red Dead Redemption 2 Steam page, making a few notable changes. The studio tweaked the game's description, swapped out Portuguese subtitles for Brazilian Portuguese, and even altered an unspecified asset.
This immediately sparked speculation online that Rockstar is gearing up for a refreshed version of Red Dead Redemption 2. Rumors suggest the studio will enhance the PC version, roll out native current-gen versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, and even port the game to the mysterious Nintendo Switch 2.
Red Dead Redemption 2 originally launched on October 26, 2018, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, later making its way to PC on November 5, 2019. The PC version is available on the Rockstar Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Players on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S can currently run the game via backward compatibility.
In related news, early screenshots of a canceled Max Payne 3 version were recently uncovered online.
