A new report from publisher Take-Two has revealed how many copies of Red Dead Redemption 2 have been sold since its release in 2018. According to the latest data, the cowboy action game has climbed to sixth place on the list of the best-selling video games of all time.

The title has sold 77 million copies, nearly catching up with Mario Kart 8, which stands at 77.3 million. The current top 10 ranking is as follows:

  • Minecraft – 350 million;
  • Grand Theft Auto 5 – 215 million;
  • Wii Sports – 82.9 million;
  • ARK: Survival Evolved – 79 million;
  • Mario Kart 8 / Deluxe – 77.3 million;
  • Red Dead Redemption 2 – 77 million;
  • Pokémon Red / Blue / Yellow – 76 million;
  • PUBG: Battlegrounds – 75 million;
  • The Sims – 70 million;
  • The Oregon Trail – 65 million.

If RDR2 continues to sell at this pace, it could very well break into the top three. As a reminder, a new event with bonuses and discounts recently launched in Red Dead Online, and it will run for a full month.
