It Looks Like Rockstar Is Preparing a Next-Gen Version of Red Dead Redemption 2

Reddit users have spotted a potential clue that Red Dead Redemption 2 may be getting a next-gen update. According to reports, Rockstar Games’ support page for Red Dead Online briefly listed an Online Migration feature for accounts — a move typically associated with new versions of a game.
This discovery adds weight to previous insider claims that Rockstar is working on an enhanced edition of RDR 2 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, as well as a port for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. Account migration features have historically accompanied new builds of games — GTA 5: Enhanced Edition offered a similar system.
Interestingly, the mention of Online Migration has since been removed from Rockstar’s support site, suggesting it may have been published ahead of schedule. The support team has not responded to user inquiries.
Meanwhile, new rumors indicate that Rockstar may already be planning Red Dead Redemption 3.
