John Marston’s Actor Teases an Announcement for the RDR Series

The voice of John Marston, Rob Wiethoff, has unexpectedly revealed that fans can expect some "exciting news" regarding the Red Dead Redemption franchise. Many believe he’s hinting at a next-gen version of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Wiethoff shared this information during a recent playthrough of RDR1, stating that he can't think about anything else, "especially while playing this game." According to him, the announcement should happen by Friday of next week — June 20.
Recently, there have been numerous rumors about Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 and about a remaster for modern consoles. It’s likely that fans can expect an announcement from Rockstar Games or a reveal of the Switch 2 version at the upcoming Nintendo Direct.
As a reminder, according to insiders, the next-gen version of Red Dead Redemption 2 is expected to release later this year.
