Red Dead Redemption 2 remains one of Rockstar Games’ finest titles, but since its 2018 release, the game has barely changed. Despite selling over 70 million copies and achieving cult status, RDR2 has yet to receive an update for modern consoles that adds 60 FPS support. Recently, Roger Clark—the voice and motion capture actor for Arthur Morgan—poked fun at this ongoing issue.

Fans have repeatedly asked Rockstar to release a next-gen patch, but the studio seems focused solely on GTA Online and the development of GTA 6. Even the original 2010 Red Dead Redemption recently got an updated version with 60 FPS support.

Roger Clark addressed the situation with humor, writing: “Guys, it has come to my attention that there isn’t a 60fps patch for RDR2 yet. Some of you have been kind enough to remind me to do something about it. I am so sorry for the delay! Am working on it right now. It’ll be ready tomorrow after lunchtime.”

Ned Luke, who voiced Michael in GTA 5, joined in on the joke, saying the update would arrive “at midnight, right after GTA 6.”

As a reminder, Red Dead Online recently launched a new event featuring in-game rewards and bonuses for players.
