GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition Team Ends Project Support

Developers from the Revolution Team announced the official end of support for their GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition project. However, the modification will receive a fixing patch.

Recall that a couple of days before the release, the team of enthusiasts faced pressure from the publisher Take-Two. The company managed to remove the YouTube channel, all official trailers and the Telegram channel, and also got to the official account on social networks. The developers had to remove all links to materials and announce the end of support:

This week will remain in our memory forever. We really made a lot of noise. We don’t know whether our case will affect the policy regarding modding, but our story with mods is coming to an end. There is no point in making projects if you can’t openly talk about them and distribute them, especially when you know that in a few days everything can just disappear. We hope for your understanding.

However, the promised patch with fixes will be released soon. It will be released by another team that has "absolutely nothing to do" with Revolution Team.

Recall that the release of GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition took place on January 25. We have already managed to play the fan "remaster" and shared our own opinion.
