Creators of the ambitious GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition mod share progress update

Recently, the modding team Revolution Team released a mini-report on their project titled GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition. This mod recreates the original Vice City using the GTA 4 engine.

Here's what the creators had to say:

• Ladders have been added throughout the city for access to the shoreline;
• All phone calls have been scripted and integrated in the correct sequence;
• Cars left in the parking spot near the hotel will be saved and available after loading a save;
• Business earnings will be collected using a money counter, complete with an animation of flipping through cash.

Previously, Revolution Team announced plans to release GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition by the end of this year, although there is a possibility of postponing the release to January.
