The iconic PS3 emulator RPCS3 dropped its Android version in early March, opening the door to playing PlayStation 3 games on smartphones. YouTuber ironfist113 decided to put it to the test, starting with a classic: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

The gameplay was showcased on an LG V60 ThinQ running LineageOS 21, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and 8GB of RAM. According to the video creator, the game runs at a solid frame rate. However, there's a snag — saves aren't working. This will likely be addressed in future updates to the emulator.

The enthusiast didn't stop there, trying out other titles. God of War 3 was able to boot, though with a noticeable performance hit. The Last of Us, however, is currently a no-go, simply displaying a black screen.
