The authors of GTA San Andreas consulted with gangsters to create the characters' dialogues

It turns out that Rockstar Games hired gang members as consultants when creating character dialogue. So the developers wanted to achieve greater authenticity.
Lazlow Jones, one of the former Rockstar Games writers and radio host, spoke about this in an interview with the YouTube show Kinda Funny Games. According to him, after completing the script, the studio invited real bandits to evaluate what was written. Guys from the street sat in the recording studio and helped edit the dialogue, explaining how the main characters should sound.
Lazlo Jones is currently working with Dan Houser on the audio series A Better Paradise. He mentioned that the developers even resorted to artificial intelligence to create one of the characters. By the way, the first episode was released a few days ago.
Recently, one of the developers of GTA 3 shared details of how the weather was created in the game.
