It appears that the VR version of GTA: San Andreas has been canceled

Since the announcement of the VR version of GTA: San Andreas, which was supposed to be an exclusive for virtual reality headsets like Quest, two years have passed, yet the game still lacks a trailer, screenshots, or a release date.
During the Connect 2023 presentation that took place at the end of September, journalists from Road to VR and UploadVR asked the developers about the current status of the project. The company responsible for releasing the VR version provided the first journalist with a response stating that they have no new information about the game. The second journalist received the response, «No comments». Immediately, speculations arose online that the project had been canceled.
The VR version of GTA: San Andreas was announced on October 28, 2021, during the Connect 2021 presentation.
