Insider Tez2 Reveals What Age Verification Will Look Like in GTA Online

The rumors about age verification coming to GTA Online turned out to be true. Insider Tez2 shared screenshots from the game’s main menu showing a new feature tied to age confirmation.
Players will be able to verify their age through the settings menu by scanning a QR code that links to a dedicated service. For now, it appears the system will only apply in the UK, likely due to the recently enacted Online Safety Act.
It’s still unclear when Rockstar plans to roll out the update. It’s possible a similar system will be implemented in the online modes of Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 6 as well.
