BattlEye Anti-Cheat Added to GTA Online

The PC version of Grand Theft Auto Online has received support for the third-party anti-cheat software BattlEye. This software is also used in other popular games: Mount & Blade 2, PUBG: Battlegrounds, Escape from Tarkov.
Rockstar did not announce the addition of the anti-cheat, but the update was spotted in the SteamDB service. This was also reported by many users, including insider Tez2.
At the beginning of August, it became known that the total sales of all parts of GTA and RDR exceeded 500 million copies. Interestingly, GTA 5 alone accounted for as many as 200 million copies.
By the way, today GTA 5 is celebrating its birthday — it's hard to believe, but the game was released 11 years ago on PS3 and Xbox 360. Write your congratulations here!
