It looks like we’ve learned the name of the first song confirmed for the GTA 6 soundtrack. American rapper Skrilla revealed on Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast that Rockstar Games will include at least one of his tracks in the upcoming title.
The song in question is “Doot Doot (6 7)”, a viral hit that inspired a popular internet meme. The track is often associated with so-called “brainrot culture” — low-effort, fast-spreading online content — which makes Rockstar’s decision to feature it particularly surprising.
During the podcast, Skrilla confirmed that his song will indeed appear in GTA 6, adding that he’ll finally be able to play the game while listening to his own music. The rapper has previously mentioned spending a lot of time in GTA Online, often role-playing as himself.
Skrilla isn’t the first artist to hint at a GTA 6 appearance. Grammy-winning producer Jermaine Dupri has also claimed that Rockstar invited him to collaborate on the project, while rapper Schoolboy Q shared a similar rumor earlier this year.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to release on May 26, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Recently, analysts shared what they believe would be the game’s optimal price point for maximum revenue.
