Actors Behind Michael and Franklin in GTA 5 Share Their Expectations for GTA 6

With the May release of Grand Theft Auto 6 approaching, Insider Gaming caught up with Ned Luke (Michael De Santa) and Shawn «Solo» Fonteno (Franklin Clinton) to hear what they’re most excited about in Rockstar’s next game. As it turns out, both actors fully share the hype of the fans.

The two appeared at gamescom 2025, which kicked off on August 19 in Cologne, where they were promoting the new ROG Xbox Ally console in partnership with Asus. When asked what excites them the most about GTA 6, Luke couldn’t resist teasing his co-star:

«I’m just excited for the game. I want to play. I want to play it, I want to livestream it, I want to enjoy it just like everybody enjoyed our game. It’s going to be awesome. You know, apart from the jiggle physics, which are going to be great, because of the big asses—Solo’s going to love it because he loves those big asses!»

Fonteno, on the other hand, kept his answer short and sweet when asked why he’s hyped for GTA 6: «It’s Miami, baby! You know what I’m saying?»

Insider Gaming also tried to press the actors for info about who’s voicing the new protagonists in GTA 6, but both kept silent — unsurprising, given recent insider revelations about Rockstar’s behind-the-scenes secrecy.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to release on May 26, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to Take-Two’s CEO, no further delays are expected.
