Strauss Zelnick Highly Confident GTA 6 Will Launch on May 26, 2026

Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick appeared once again on CNBC, joining the program Money Movers to discuss the company’s Q2 financial results and preparations for the release of GTA 6.
During the conversation, Zelnick reiterated that he is highly confident in the game’s new release date and expects it to arrive in May 2026. That said, it’s worth noting he expressed the same confidence before the delay — so we’re not holding our breath.
Zelnick also mentioned that Rockstar is working on several projects. While he didn’t go into detail, rumors suggest the studio is preparing a next-gen update for Red Dead Redemption 2 and a remaster of GTA 4.
Earlier, the Take-Two chief also commented on GTA 6’s pricing.
