Rumor: GTA 6 May Support 60 FPS on PS5 Pro

A new rumor suggests that GTA 6 could run at 60 FPS on the upcoming PS5 Pro. According to insider Detective Seeds, the game is already hitting 60 FPS on various graphics settings, with PlayStation engineers assisting Rockstar with optimization as part of a marketing agreement between the two companies. He also mentioned that special PS5 bundles featuring GTA 6 are planned for the future.

The source claims that the PS5 Pro version of GTA 6 will offer several graphics modes. Additionally, there are reports that PlayStation is helping Rockstar with other projects as well.

Detective Seeds says this information comes from a PlayStation engineer who has previously provided accurate details. However, it’s worth taking this rumor with a grain of salt, as some of Detective Seeds’ past leaks have not panned out. That said, in April he did correctly predict the announcement of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, which launched on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

For reference, GTA 6 was officially unveiled in December 2023. The game was originally slated for release in 2025, but has since been delayed to May 26, 2026.
