GTA 6's Second Trailer Sets New Personal Record on YouTube

The ranking of Rockstar Games' most popular trailers on YouTube has shifted. The second trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, released in May, has officially become the studio's second most-viewed video on the platform.
Previously, that spot belonged to the original GTA 5 trailer, which amassed over 123 million views across 13 years. However, GTA 6's second teaser has now surpassed it, reaching 123.5 million views in just a couple of months. The top spot remains unchallenged: the first GTA 6 trailer, released in December 2023, currently holds over 263 million views.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled for release on May 26, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. There is no official word yet on a PC version.
Recently, a former Rockstar developer suggested that GTA 6 may remain the studio’s most expensive project ever. According to them, development costs could be reduced thanks to advances in AI tools.
