Looks Like Ford Took Inspiration from GTA 6 in the New Ford Capri Trailer

Ford has released a new trailer for the Ford Capri, and it’s clearly inspired by the trailers for Grand Theft Auto 6. The ad features a similar cinematic style with sweeping aerial shots, but instead of the fictional Vice City, it showcases the real Italian island of Capri.
The trailer also pays homage to GTA 6 with social media-style quick cuts: a goat, news about animals wandering the city, a woman holding a gamepad, and a scene with a woman walking through a shop—direct nods to moments from the official GTA 6 trailer.
At the end of the video, there’s a crossed-out “May 2026” date, referencing GTA 6’s release window. Instead, the global launch for the Ford Capri is set for August 2025.
For reference, Hyundai also recreated the GTA 6 trailer earlier.
