Rockstar Games is known not only for its explosive action but also for dramatic storylines — and now, fans believe the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 may have hinted at a secret double life for protagonist Jason Duval.

After carefully analyzing the trailer, some viewers speculate that Jason might be an undercover cop. A few frames show him wearing what appears to be a police uniform (seen from behind with a cap worn backward), and a prison warden oddly asks if they’ve seen him before — implying a past connection. In another scene, a character directly questions Jason, asking if he's a federal agent.

A popular Reddit theory suggests Jason might not be a cop per se, but rather someone working with law enforcement. Either way, players believe that by the end of the game, Jason may face a dramatic choice: stay loyal to Lucia and embrace the outlaw life, or fulfill his covert deal with the authorities.
