Kotaku: GTA 6 to Release on October 28 This Year

Kotaku has joined the conversation that has millions of gamers eagerly awaiting the release of GTA 6. The buzz is about the exact release date of the game, which has not been officially confirmed yet.
According to the publication, GTA 6 is set to launch on October 28 this year. This date falls on a Tuesday, and as many know, Rockstar often releases its major titles on this day. For instance, GTA 5, GTA 4, and GTA San Andreas were all released on a Tuesday.
Additionally, Borderlands 4 is scheduled to release on September 23, and therefore, according to Kotaku's author, it's unlikely that Take-Two Interactive (the parent company of 2K and Rockstar Games) would want two of its major projects to launch simultaneously. Thus, the end of October seems to be the most favorable time for the release of GTA 6, unless, of course, the launch is postponed to next year.
As a reminder, back in February, Take-Two Interactive announced that they still plan to release GTA 6 in the fall of 2025.
