Fans of Rockstar are once again left empty-handed. Over recent weeks, the community hoped the studio would celebrate Christmas by unveiling the first screenshots of GTA 6. However, that didn’t happen.
Many expected to see the long-awaited images on December 24—historically the same date that screenshots for GTA 4 and GTA 5 were revealed. It seemed logical for Rockstar to continue the tradition with GTA 6, but the studio had other plans.
Now, conspiracy theorists are pinning their hopes on December 27, speculating that Rockstar might release a second trailer then. Supporting this theory is the number 27, which fans claim appears everywhere—in the studio's posts, on license plates, newspaper clippings about Bonnie and Clyde, and more.
GTA 6 is still slated for a fall 2025 release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
