A fake release date for GTA 6 has surfaced online

Rumors have started circulating online that GTA 6 will be released on October 27. The cause of this was the IMDb website — today someone updated the game's page, filling in the release date field.
It is worth noting right away that IMDb allows its users to edit pages, so the information is clearly fake. Fan-made posters of the game have also appeared on the site before. Another point: October 27, 2025, falls on a Monday, while most major releases happen on Tuesdays and Fridays.

So far, it is only known that the release of GTA 6 will take place in the fall of 2025 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Earlier, Take-Two head Strauss Zelnick indirectly confirmed that the game will also be released on PC.
