YouTuber Dark Space reported that Take-Two Interactive took down his video showcasing a GTA 6 map, created as a free mod for FiveM (GTA 5). According to the creator, he expected this outcome but was surprised that the video was removed immediately without prior notice via email requesting him to do it himself.

In the published video, he explained that he also decided to remove download links for the mod to avoid copyright infringement.

The YouTuber stated that the mod was based on footage from the GTA 6 trailer and leaks related to the game. He worked on the project for about two months. The creator believes that Take-Two Interactive might have requested YouTube to remove his video because the map could have been accurate and spoiled the surprise for gamers in the future.

Additionally, he does not rule out the possibility that Take-Two Interactive disliked the interview he conducted with the creators of the Liberty City Preservation Project mod, which transfers Liberty City from GTA 4 to GTA 5. Incidentally, it was also canceled after "a conversation with Rockstar Games."

Dark Space sent a letter to Take-Two Interactive expressing his disappointment that the company issued a strike against him and did not contact him via email before deciding to remove the video.
