Here's How Ray Tracing Transforms Graphics in GTA 5 Enhanced on PC

On March 4, the PC version of GTA 5 received a next-gen update, introducing ray tracing support among other enhancements. Naturally, players wasted no time comparing how much the graphics have improved.
The update brings enhanced shadows and reflections—previously available only on consoles—along with PC-exclusive upgrades like improved global illumination and ambient occlusion.
Below are several comparison screenshots shared by users @GameRollGTA и @videotechuk_ on X. The top image in each pair shows the game with ray tracing enabled.
GTA 5 Enhanced is now available on Steam, Epic Games Store, and Rockstar Games Launcher. Meanwhile, some players have noticed updates to Rockstar’s Terms of Service.
