GTA 5 sales exceeded 200 million copies

In recene financial report Take-Two revealed the total sales of GTA 5 exceeded 200 million copies. The overall sales figures for the GTA and RDR series reached over 500 million copies — 430 million for GTA and 91 million for RDR.
The publisher added that GTA 5 remains the best-selling game in the US over the past 10 years. The fifth installment was the fastest to earn $1 billion in retail.
“The Grand Theft Auto series exceeded our expectations, as momentum continues to build ahead of the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI in Fall 2025,” the publisher said.
The report also mentioned that the company plans to release 5 remasters or remakes by April 2027. Whether the PC version of Red Dead Redemption is included is unknown.
Earlier, we reported that sales of Red Dead Redemption 2 reached 65 million copies.
