Rockstar Games was probably working on a documentary about GTA 5

Interesting details about the behind-the-scenes development of the fifth Grand Theft Auto appeared during an online meeting between the main cast of the game and fans. According to voice actor Michael Ned Luke, Rockstar Games had an idea for a documentary about the making of the game.
“What’s nuts is we had that behind the scenes camera going the whole time and they [Rockstar] never did anything with it. That would have been gold,” he said on the stream.
Steven Ogg, the “voice” of Trevor, also added to his colleague’s words:
“I think at one point, didn’t we discuss like how cool to make the making of… so at this point we’d have the documentary on the making of GTA.”
However, for some reason, Rockstar Games canceled work on the documentary, and the footage remained somewhere on the studio's shelves.
By the way, in 2021, the main cast of GTA 5 jokingly made their own version of the documentary. Then the performers of the roles of Franklin and Lamar parodied the very scene of the argument, which later became memes.
Recently, GTA fans put together their own version of the map of the future game, based on leaks and information from insiders. The territory turned out to be three times larger than in the fifth part.
