Grand Theft Auto 4 turns 16 years old

Today, one of the most controversial parts of the series, Grand Theft Auto 4, celebrates its 16th anniversary. It’s time to return to 2008, listen to Vladivostok FM again and choose between revenge and forgiveness.
The plot of the fourth game became risky in many ways for Rockstar Games. The company decided to focus on a darker story, thickening the tone. Even the color palette of GTA 4 emphasizes the earthiness of the story of Niko Bellic from Yugoslavia, who arrives in Liberty City with a load of sins to start over.
And it worked. Critics praised the game — on Metacritic the rating of Grand Theft Auto 4 is 98/100 points. The players also loved it; many still consider this part to be the best in the series.
We also owe something to this part — our LibertyCity website was opened just before the release of the fourth GTA and once specialized only in it. We're now covering all of Rockstar's games, thanks in no small part to one in particular.
