It looks like Rockstar may have accidentally made the mobile version of GTA 3: The Definitive Edition free for a short time. On the morning of July 15, users noticed that the remaster was listed as free on the App Store.

Just a few hours later, the original $20 price tag was restored. According to players, it wasn’t a trial or demo — the full version of the game was available for free download.

It’s still unclear whether Rockstar plans to revoke the free copies. Recently, the game was also added to the PS Plus Extra and Premium libraries.

Earlier this month, actor Michael Madsen passed away. Known for his roles in Quentin Tarantino's films, he also voiced Toni Cipriani in GTA 3. We explored his career in a recent article.
