Take-Two has not abandoned plans to transfer its major games to mobile platforms
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed at the TD Cowen conference that the company still plans to bring its biggest series like GTA to mobile platforms. He is confident that in the future the company will be able to announce one of the projects.
According to Tech4gamers, at the conference, Strauss Zelnick announced that Take-Two is doubling its efforts to release its most famous games on mobile devices. When asked if there had been any progress, he replied:
“I would love to be able to announce a successful mobile title based on legacy Take-Two IP, and I’m pretty sure we’ll be able to do it.”
Strauss Zelnick also noted that it is quite difficult to release a game on a mobile platform and achieve success.
Let us recall that in 2022, the GTA publisher acquired the Zynga studio, which specializes in games for mobile platforms. It is expected that she will also be involved in porting games from Take-Two studios.
Earlier at the same conference, the head of the company discussed the release of GTA 6 on PC.
