Max Payne voice actor has passed away. Rockstar Games honors his memory
Voice actor James McCaffrey, known for voicing Max Payne in the eponymous game series, has passed away. Rockstar Games has expressed their condolences and paid tribute to his memory.

The death occurred on December 17th. The cause was multiple myeloma (a form of chronic lymphocytic leukemia). The actor was 64 years old.
In addition to Max Payne, James McCaffrey also contributed his voice to games such as Area 51 (additional voice), Alone in the Dark (Edward Carnby), Alan Wake (Thomas Zane, Alex Casey), Control (Zachariah Trench), and Alan Wake 2 (Alex Casey).
Furthermore, he portrayed FBI Special Agent Jack Lupino in the 2008 Max Payne movie.
