The Gunslinger's Tragedy — Red Dead Redemption Mission Walkthrough

This guide will show you how to use the DeadEye skill even more professionally in Red Dead Redemption, with the help of special training from your new acquaintance.

Head to the town of Chuparosa to meet a man named Landon Ricketts.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by three Mexicans who will not want to part peacefully, resulting in you killing them. Shortly after, you will see the very teacher — Mr. Ricketts. When you were still very young, this man was known for his strangely earned fame, killing people. You will tell him that you are looking for Bill Williamson and Javier Escuella.

Show Ricketts what you are capable of by activating Dead Eye when he asks you to shoot at targets.

Shoot the bottles and follow the man. He will tell you about a problem with birds that are rummaging through garbage and making life difficult for local settlers.

Kill several birds and continue following Mr. Ricketts. An official-looking man named Ramon will run up to both of you and tell you about the threat to the Chuparosa bank wagon.

Mount a horse and follow the man to the scene. Kill the invaders using your ability and escort the wagon to the town. By doing this, you will complete the mission, receive +47 points to the Fame parameter, and also +50 points to the Honor parameter.
