This mod for Red Dead Redemption makes important improvements to HDR (high dynamic range) processing. The main goal of the mod is to fix bugs in HDR processing and completely unblock the bright areas of the image, allowing them to shine to their fullest.

Previously, the highlights of the image were limited due to the Postfx shader limiting them to the SDR (standard dynamic range) range. Now, thanks to this mod, these restrictions are removed and HDR is displayed correctly.

Additionally, the mod changes the behavior of the “paper white” slider. When set to 196 nits, the mod rounds this value to 203 nits (which corresponds to the BT.2408 reference white).

The mod uses ReShade, which simplifies updates and avoids directly changing game files.

Installation:

Download Reshade.
Install Reshade version 6.3.3 or higher with support for addons for PlayRDR.exe.
Paste the file from the archive into the Red Dead Redemption directory (where PlayRDR.exe is located).
Launch RDR, press the Home key on your keyboard and select the installed preset from the list.

Этот мод для Red Dead Redemption вносит важные улучшения в процесс обработки HDR (высокий динамический диапазон). Основная цель мода — исправить ошибки в обработке HDR и полностью разблокировать яркие участки изображения, что позволяет им сиять в полной мере.

Ранее яркие участки изображения были ограничены из-за того, что Postfx шейдер ограничивал их до диапазона SDR (стандартный динамический диапазон). Теперь, благодаря этому моду, эти ограничения сняты, и HDR отображается корректно.

Дополнительно, мод изменяет поведение ползунка «paper white». Когда он установлен на 196 нит, мод округляет это значение до 203 нит (что соответствует эталонному белому по стандарту BT.2408).

Мод использует ReShade, что упрощает обновления и позволяет избежать прямого изменения игровых файлов.

Установка:

Скачать Reshade.
Установить Reshade версии 6.3.3 или выше с поддержкой аддонов для PlayRDR.exe.
Вставить файл из архива в директорию Red Dead Redemption (где находится PlayRDR.exe).
Запустить RDR, нажать клавишу Home на клавиатуре и выбрать установленный пресет из списка.
