This mod is designed to make the game's visual effects more cinematic, improving the graphics provided by RRO (Red Dead Redemption Overhaul) and hiding any remaining flaws. The mod ensures consistently high image quality at any time of day and in any weather conditions.
What this preset uses:
- CAS (Contrast Adaptive Sharpening) — adds subtle yet significant sharpness, altering the perception of the game.
- Lightroom — major changes include fixing the overly blue sky that appears in clear weather with RRO (which the mod author dislikes), adding vignetting, adjusting contrast and exposure, etc.
- Bloom — this is a key effect that significantly alters the game's appearance, especially the sky during sunsets.
These effects bring the game's visual perception closer to Red Dead Redemption 2, which also actively uses post-effects such as bloom and vignetting, while preserving the original charm and strengths of the game.
Installation:
- Place the .ini file in the game folder where the RDR.exe file is located.
- Install Reshade (preferably a version compatible with add-ons so that the REST add-on can be applied and the game's interface left unchanged).
- During installation, select the .ini file you just placed in the game folder.

Cinematic Wild West Reshade
Мод предназначен для того, чтобы сделать визуальные эффекты игры более кинематографичными, улучшая графику, которую предоставляет RRO (Red Dead Redemption Overhaul), и скрывая оставшиеся недостатки. Мод обеспечивает постоянное высокое качество изображения в любое время суток и при любых погодных условиях.
Что использует этот пресет:
- CAS (Contrast Adaptive Sharpening) — добавляет тонкую, но значительную резкость, изменяющую восприятие игры.
- Lightroom — основные изменения включают устранение чрезмерно синего неба, которое появляется при ясной погоде с RRO (что автору мода не нравится), добавление виньетки, изменение контраста и экспозиции и т. д.
- Bloom — это ключевой эффект, который значительно изменяет внешний вид игры, особенно небо во время закатов.
Эти эффекты приближают визуальное восприятие игры к Red Dead Redemption 2, которая также активно использует пост-эффекты, такие как блум и виньетка, при этом сохраняя оригинальное очарование и сильные стороны игры.
Установка:
