This mod changes the standard animations for searching corpses and skinning/plucking feathers from animals, replacing them with much shorter animations that take only a fraction of a second.
Installation:
- Make a backup copy of the "animationres.rpf" file, which is located in the "/Red Dead Redemption/game" folder.
- Open "MagicRDR.exe" from the included MagicRDR folder.
- Click File > Open and navigate to the original "animationres.rpf" file.
- After opening, in the left pane, go to the “root/animationres/ast/clipres” folder.
- In Windows Explorer, open the included "Replacements" folder and select all the files with the .was extension inside.
- Drag all the .was files to the right panel of MagicRDR and click the "Replace" button at the bottom of all the windows that appear after that.
- After replacing all files in MagicRDR, click File > Save > Current (or Ctrl+S) and confirm the action.
This mod uses a shorter existing animation to replace the search/skinning animations. As a result, after skinning the animal, you will be left with a knife in your hands. Keep this in mind if there are enemies around you while skinning.
If you want to avoid this problem completely, but still see the skinning animations, you can replace only .was files "loot_corpse", "loot_corpse_solo_male" and "loot_corpse_solo_female" in your "animationres.rpf" file.

Установка:
- Сделайте резервную копию файла «animationres.rpf», который находится в папке «/Red Dead Redemption/game».
- Откройте «MagicRDR.exe» из включенной папки MagicRDR.
- Нажмите File > Open и перейдите к оригинальному файлу «animationres.rpf».
- После открытия, в левой панели перейдите в папку «root/animationres/ast/clipres».
- В Проводнике Windows откройте включенную папку «Replacements» и выберите все файлы с расширением .was внутри.
- Перетащите все файлы .was на правую панель MagicRDR и нажмите кнопку «Replace» внизу всех окон, которые появятся после этого.
- После замены всех файлов в MagicRDR, нажмите File > Save > Current (или Ctrl+S) и подтвердите действие.
Этот мод использует более короткую существующую анимацию для замены анимаций обыска/снятия шкур. В результате после снятия шкуры с животного у вас останется нож в руках. Вам нужно будет вручную сменить нож на любое другое оружие по вашему выбору. Имейте это в виду, если вокруг вас есть враги во время снятия шкур.
Если вы хотите полностью избежать этой проблемы, но при этом видеть анимации снятия шкур, вы можете заменить только файлы .was «loot_corpse», «loot_corpse_solo_male» и «loot_corpse_solo_female» в вашем файле «animationres.rpf».
