The Ford Falcon XB (1973-1976) was a full-size car from Ford Australia that became iconic after the release of the movie Mad Max (1979). In the movie the model was nicknamed "The Last V8 Interceptor". The car was seriously modified: black paint, spoilers, widened arches, eight side exhaust pipes and, most importantly, the outstanding Weiand 6-71 supercharger on the hood — the hallmark of this car.
The model weighs more than 700 KB, replaces the standard fbicar.dff (FBI Washington).
Tools required.
- ES File Explorer;
- IMG Tool;
- TXD Tool.
Installation Instructions (Android)
1. File preparation:
- Open ES File Explorer;
- Go to: Internal Memory > Android > obb;
- Locate the GTA: Vice City folder, rename the file inside by adding .obb;
- Extract the veh_high.img and veh_high.dir files from the texdb folder;
- Unpack the archives dff.zip, txd.zip, cleo.zip (inside are model files, textures, tires and CLEO scripts).
2. Replacing the model via IMG Tool:
- Open veh_high.img;
- Locate and delete fbicar.dff;
Add unzipped fbicar.dff (Ford Falcon XB).
3. Install textures via TXD Tool:
- Open gta3hi.txt;
- Click on the first picture icon on the bottom right;
- Select Uncompressed 32bpp mode ;
- Check all images and confirm;
- Click Overlay Textures.
4. Install CLEO scripts:
- Unzip the contents of cleo.zip;
- Move the data and models folders to
Android/data/com.rockstargames.gtavc/files or cleo/vc.
Replacement in the game: Model FBI Washington (fbicar) is replaced by Ford Falcon XB Interceptor.
After installation you will get the legendary car from the movie Mad Max with high detail, unique visual elements and modifications.
