Currently, only 1 trolleybus of this model operates in a linear mode.

This model is also intended for the bus_doors_shirma script.

In August 1972, the production of the first serial modification of the ZiU-682B began (the change of designation from ZiU-9 to ZiU-682 was due to bringing the marking to the requirements of the industry classifier). The first serial trolleybuses were somewhat different from the cars of later releases.
