Max is a character in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, mentioned in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, who is the head of Freedom's military operations at the Army Depots. Max is an excellent fighter, gets along well with others and is respected among his subordinates. He was one of the first to join Svoboda, perhaps even under Chekhov.
